Willie The Kid & V Don heavyweight duo have been making waves for a while now with a few projects under there belt’s.
Blue notes 1 & 2 but more recently the classical 4 part Deutsche Marks series Willie The Kid, a rapper from Grand Rapids, Michigan, does not have even half the fame he deserves. The artist with the given name Willie Jackson, born in 1985, is the younger brother of La the Darkman, a rapper that belongs to Wu-Tang Affiliate. Picture, if you will, the evolution of the MC. An artist who was born to do it, to revolutionize the Hip-Hop movement.
V Don, is an American music producer known for his work in the East Coast underground hip-hop scene. His sound scapes are very unique with fusion blending sounds which are Intricately layered. He has built his name and reputation with his impressive discography working with artist like Eto, Ransom, Estee Nack, Boldy James and griselda often crafting dark and gritty beats.
He's also produced for more mainstream artists like A$AP Rocky dave east and Trae tha Truth. As a duo think gritty jazz based sampled beats with that classical feeling. Accompanied by some poetic rhymes of complex simplicity at its finest. Every line is slick but meaningful pack with punchlines metaphors and heavy wordplay.
