In celebration of her birthday, Terri is hosting a special event at Brix in London Bridge for the release of the remix package of her album, “My Love Story”. Produced by one of UK’s leading underground producers Zed Bias. Renowned for bangers like, “Neighbourhood”.
“My Love Story”, was originally produced by Manchester’s finest Hip Hop and Soul connoisseurs Children of Zeus.

One of the most legendary shows we've hosted – from witnessing the West Coast OG in Menace to Society at 16 to experiencing him perform "Straight Up Menace" nearly 30 years later was absolutely mind-blowing. High Focus's finest, DIRTY DIKE, returns for a showcase featuring tracks from his latest project "Matress" and Dirty Dike classics.
This collaboration has been all about emerging talent, shining a light on UK rappers. Join us as we showcase favorites from past open mics: Miles Idris, Lefty & Bxrbarian, whose energy 100% sets the stage for Dirty Dike.

The second installment of the Chip Shop x Hennessy Collaboration brings back the legendary Skinnyman to the Chip Shop. Skinny, renowned for his impactful lyrics and profound social commentary, is an iconic figure in UK Hip Hop. We're thrilled to welcome him back to the Chip Shop. Joining him for the night is East London's talented emcee and songwriter, Jaz Kahina, and the EOW champion and wordsmith, MAS LAW. Chip Shop resident Jim Sharp will be on the turntables, setting the vibe for the evening. Make sure to arrive early to savor the delicious Henny wings and cocktails.

@david.corio began his professional career in 1978 taking photographs for New Musical Express, followed by The Face, Time Out, City Limits and Black Echoes, covering a wide range of music and portraiture. Corio has worked as a freelance photographer for many publications including The Guardian, The Times, The New York Times, Q, Mojo and Rolling Stone. Over the years, David Corio has documented musicians from the world of rock, hip hop, reggae, jazz, blues and world music along with portraits of many people in the arts. He has worked for many record companies including Island, BMG, Sony, Greensleeves, Trojan, Blood & Fire, Soul Jazz, VP and Heartbeat Records and his photos have been used on many record sleeves.
Keith Shocklee – BOMB SQUAD
The Hip-Hop 50 Celebrations continue with the legendary @keithshocklee , the original member of Public Enemy and the Bomb Squad, hits the turntables at the CHIP SHOP.
Keith's contributions extend to iconic albums like "It Takes A Nation Of Millions To Hold Us Back" and "Fear of a Black Planet."
He's also known for co-producing hit singles like "Bring the Noise" and "Fight The Power," not to mention his work on Ice Cube's debut album, "Amerikkka's Most Wanted," (a personal favourite) the list goes on and one so it's a real honour to host this legend at the spot
This special night will be supported by CHIP SHOP residents @jim_sharp_uk & @cronxdon, and it's a strictly 45s affair all night long. You absolutely can't afford to miss this event!

Terri Walker Album launch party at BRIX
20 yrs to the day of her debut release, "Untitled“ on Mercury records via Def Soul UK. Terri Walker, is set to release, the first single from her 5th Album. "My Love Story“. On her own label, "Wings of a hummingbird“, distributed via Believe UK. She has come full circle and by her own admission, believes this is her best work to date. She says the opening track, "Finally Over You“. Sets the tone of this next offering. Explaining that she has finally arrived, at her desired destination. To reap the rewards of her labour. Written by herself with co-writes and production from, Tyler Daley, Konny Kon also known as the duo Children of Zeus and MC Drs. Manchester’s finest and in her opinion, most inspiring creatives. In the times were in. Who also produced the whole album. Is a thank you, to all who have, inspired her along the way.
Walker released her debut album Untitled in 2003 to critical acclaim. In a review from the BBC, Denise Boyd stated that "In Ms Walker we have an artist who can bravely take on the US diva and who may even come out unscathed on the other side. Terri Walker and Untitled can't be pigeon holed. This is not just urban, this is not just R&B, this is music for the soul. The album received further acclaim when it was nominated for the 2003 Mercury Music Prize alongside Walker's nominations for Best R&B Act, UK Act of the Year, Best Album and Best Newcomer at the 2003 MOBO Awards.
